Festival: It looked like 40 days and 40 nights on Saturday morning but by noon, the floods resided. Whew!
Thanks to all who hung rosaries on the line. I would like to thank the Festival Organizing Committee and
volunteers who helped make our well-attended Festival a success. A report will be provided and a follow-up
meeting will take place come Early Fall. Fr. Barret
Festival: Meals for Festival were a big success as usual. Thanks to all who worked tirelessly to make this
happen. Special thanks to the young girls who worked so efficiently.

L'Ardoise Acadian Festival 2006: We have once again banded together to put on another very successful
festival. To the organizers, the workers, the entertainers, the individuals, groups, and bussinesses, both local
and regional, that gave prizes, food, supplies and financial donations, we say a big thank you. To the
parishioners, visitors, friends and family that support the festival every year, please be assured of our heartfelt

Children's Day Camp Prouam: A wholesome program for children 5 - 10 years of age, supervised by the
Recreation Department's summer staff. Planned activities include: Arts & crafts, indoor and outdoor activities
such as games, sports, hikes, picnics, singing and storytelling. 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. daily. Fee: $10.00 per

Thanks: To all those who participated in any way in making our time of sorrow more bearable with phone
calls, get-well cards, mass cards and visits to the hospital and funeral home. Thank you ever so much. Special
thanks to our friends who provided food at the hospital and funeral home. Thanks to Fr. Barrett for his
inspirational homily and to Dr. Eric Downing for his wonderful care. These acts of kindness are much

Another Concert By the Sea will be held on Thursday, August 10th at the St Peters Church Grounds Bandshell.
Start time is 6 p.m. and it runs until 7:3 p.m. and will be held rain or shine. Erin Sampson
