The Atlantic Catholic: Presents "The Eucharist: Sign of the Church's Unity," October 21-23 at the Keating
Millennium Center, St Francis Xavier University. For more information and registration form, please pick-up a
brochure at the church entrances.

Book of Intentions: At the entrance of the church, one will find a book of intentions. People can write the
names of their recently ill and deceased relatives and friends to be included in the "Prayer of the Faithful"
during Sunday liturgy. If your ill relatives and friends are in a hospital other than Strait Richmond for more
than one week, please ensure that their names are written in the book of intentions each week-end.

Anniversary Celebrations: Couples who were married in our parish are this year celebrating special

Sod Turning - New Richmond Villa The Honorable Angus Maclsaac, Minister of Health - Province of Nova
Scotia and Board of Directors of Richmond Villa extend an invitation to everyone to attend the official Sod
Turning Ceremony
to commence the construction of the new Richmond Villa in St Peters. This event will
take place Sunday, June 12, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. on the site of the new Richmond Villa. A reception will follow at
the Lions Club Community Hall, St Peters.


Father's Pay Roast Beef Dinner on Sunday, June 19 from 11:30 to 1:00. Adults $8.00, Children under 12 -
$5.00. This event will take place at the Fire Hall and is sponsored by the L'Ardoise Volunteer Fire Dept Ladies
Auxiliary.


Lawn Tractor: Bids will be received from June 13th to June 17th on a 20.5 Turbo Twin Cylinder 6-speed, 42"
cut Craftsman Lawn Tractor. Bids must be sent to Holy Guardian Angels Parish, PO Box 145 L'Ardoise, NS

The L'Ardoise Volunteer Fire Department has been awarded a grant for a summer student. It will run for an 8-
week period, commencing June 27th. We are looking for a motivated young student who will be enrolled in
post-secondary education for the next semester. Anyone wishing to apply for the position, please send resume

5:30 p.m. and 6-7 p.m. also in St Peters at East Richmond Education Center on Tuesday, June 14 from 3:30 -
5:30 p.m. and 6 - 7:30 p.m. This service is free to the public. Everyone is welcome.
