Faith Development and Ministry Starts Up in the Fall: We sometimes hear: "What does Christian faith
have to do with the real world today with all our issues about life, love, sickness and disasters?" Indeed, our
faith touches on all aspects of our world. But we need to deepen it and grow in it (Faith Development) and
then to do something with our faith the world (Ministry). all baptized Christians are called by their baptism to
deepen their faith life and to do something to make their world a holy place. To help us all do just that, our
Diocesan Faith Development and Ministry program offers us the help we need to mature in our faith. Ten live-
in weekends a year with excellent facilitators and teachers will guide us through a wonderful process of
community building and enhancing our understanding of our faith. If interested, please contact your pastor or
call Fr. Bedford Doucette at the Diocesan Pastoral Center, 538-6188 ext. 235
