Sacrament of Reconciliation: Before weekday Masses & Saturdays, 6:15pm - 6:45pm

Anniversary Celebrations: All couples, who were married here or who are now members of our parish,
celebrating 25 years, 40 years, and 50 years and over are invited to celebrate together on Saturday, June 10th,
2006 at the Community Center. Reception - 4:30 p.m.; Supper - 5:00 p.m. and Mass following at 7:00 p.m.

World Youth Day Group: There is an account set up at the St Peters Enviro-Depot for the World Youth Day
Group. Anyone wishing to donate their recyclables to the group can drop them off and the staff at the Depot
will credit the WYD account.

L'Ardoise Acadian Festival Meeting will be held on Sunday, May 28,2006 at 2 p.m. at the Community
Center. Everyone is welcome to attend.

The I W K Merchandise & Lobster Bingo will be held on Saturday, June 3rd at 2 p.m. at the L'Ardoise
Legion. Come and supporta good cause.

Health Proiect:
Well Women's Clinic, June 8th,2006, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. at the Dr. Kingston Memorial Clinic in L'Ardoise.

C@P Site Hours: New hours are Tuesday to Friday from 3:30 -7:30 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. - 12

Faith Formation Committee: The faith formation committee will meet on Tuesday, May 30th at 7:30 p.m. in
the glebe.

Pastoral Planning: The Diocesan Pastoral Planning Process was begun in February of 2004 by the naming of a
Pastoral Planning Coordinating Committee by Bishop Lahey. Presenting the Committee members are: Bishop
R. Lahey, Frs. Sandy MacNeil, Angus MacDougall, Lester Marchand, Doug Murphy, Will MacPherson, Charles
Donovan and Paul Abbass. Bishop Lahey invited the nine Deaneries of the Diocese to hold meetings and reflect
upon where we were in terms of the Pastoral Planning Process, to review the past pastoral planning activities
and provide updates in terms of the situation in the parishes, regions and deaneries of the Diocese. This is the
first in a series of eight bulletin announcements that will inform parishioners about the process of pastoral

Eastern Counties Regional Library will be visiting St Peters East Richmond Education Center) Tuesday,
May 30 from 3:30 - 5:30 p.m. ant 6:00 -7:30 p.m. This library is a free to the public. Everyone is welcome!

Cancer survivors are invited to register for the Relay for Life event which will be held in Arichat on June 9th,
2006. This event is a celebration of courage in the fight against cancer. Survivors will share a dinner and then
take part in one victory lap around the track. To register for the survivor dinner, please call 226-0969.

August 28-30, 2006 Summer Institute for Liturgical Music - Villa Madonna Retreat House, Little Bras D'Or.
Registration fee: $50.00. Limited number of rooms available at Villa Madonna @ $15.00 per night. Meals
$18.50 per day. Registration deadline - June 26th. Facilitators - Sr. Donna Kelly, Bernadette Gasslein, Fr. Bill
Burke and Fr. Conrad Edwards. Skill sessions will be offered in guitar, organ, choir director, voice, cantor,
Morning & Evening prayer of the Church and liturgy committees. Main topics offered to all participants are
wedding and funeral music, liturgical principles and Mass settings. The institute begins Monday with
registration @ 6 p.m. and Evening Prayer@ 7 p.m. and closes on Wednesday with Celebration of Eucharist at 3

Thank You: We would like to thank all for your love and tremendous support before, during and following
the loss of a wonderful husband, father, father-in-law, brother, uncle, brother-in-law & Papa, Joseph Gracie.
Thank you for your cards, meals, donations in memory of Joe, phone calls, and visits to both our home and to
the Strait Richmond Hospital. He was touched by all of the support. To all who participated in his funeral
service including Betty & Alex Boyles, Raymond & Shirley Gracie, Stevie Sampson, John Martell, Bill
Fitzpatrick, Wilfred Barrett, Sheila Pottie, and the choir and all who carried up roses in Joe's memory. To Rev.
Barrett Clare-Johnson who officiated a beautiful service, Barbara Campbell (Adamsson) for the reading of the
eulogy and to Huguette Martell for selling the mass cards on.our behalf. Special thanks to Alex A. Morrison,
