Dear Parishioners: I would like to thank you for your generous
donation to the Residents of Talbot House. It
is only through the generous support of people like yourselves that we are able
to provide the residents with
personal care items. As you may be aware many of the residents arrive to us
with only the clothes on their
backs. It is up to us to try and fill as many needs as possible for them. Your
support greatly helps in our
ongoing efforts to make their stay as comfortable as possible. Your thoughtfulness
is very much appreciated,
especially with the holiday's season coming near. Your parish name is a true
reflection of what you are to the
residents of Talbot House - "Guardian Angels." Sincerely, Patricia
Kachafanas, Administrator Residents
Needs, Talbot House.

Advent: The season of Advent marks the beginning of the Church
Year. Advent is celebrated during the four
weeks before Christmas and is a time of quiet waiting for the Messiah. The Church
invites us to remember that
just as Christ grew in his mother's womb some 2,000 years ago, today we must
allow him to grow in our hearts.
Advent looks to both the past (Christ's birth in the town of Bethlehem) and
the future (the unknown time when
Christ will come again).
Thank You: Thanks so very much for all your prayers, cards, phone
calls, visits and food while I've been sick.
On the road to recovery now. Valerie Sampson
