Next Sunday is World Mission Sunday: We are reminded today to give back to God what is God's. Surely
that is our love, our good will, our prayer of praise and thanksgiving. It is also to be generous in our service and
support. As we prepare for next week's World Mission Sunday, let us pray for all who work in the worldwide
mission field and remember to give generously to the collection on behalf of the missions.

The Annual Meeting of the Antigonish Diocesan Society will be held in the Knights of Columbus Hall, Port
Hawkesbury on Sunday, October 30, 2005 at 2:30 p.m.

Women & Self-Esteem Program: A 6-week program designed to help women understand and enhance their

November 3 Fr. Gerald Campbell "In the light of Scripture." A scripture scholar, Fr. Gerald helps us connect
with our ancestors in the faith who have known the rich rewards of conversion. Thursday, Nov. 10 Fr. Stanley
MacDonald "Invitation to a new human - earth relationship." Intrigued by what science is discovering about
creation? Fr. Stanley helps us reflect on what this means for our relationship with creation. Thursday, Nov. 17
Fr. Paul Abbass and Company "The journey to freedom and wholeness." Conversion is not for the faint
hearted. Father Paul and men from Talbot House will share the rigors of the journey and why it is worth taking.
