Religious Education; Religious Education registration is September 30th at 10:30 a.m.
At the L'Ardoise Community Center. The first class is October 14th at 10:30 a.m. at the
L'Ardoise Community Center. Students (grades 1-6) from Immaculate Conception Parish
are welcome to attend religious education classes in L'Ardoise or St Peters. The contact

in St Peters is Judy MaddenFestival Meeting will be held on Monday, September 17th at 7 p.m. downstairs in the Community Center. This is to review the 2007 festival, forward any suggestions for
upcoming festivals, and start planning the 2008 festival. All welcome!!!L'Ardoise Legion Meeting on Tuesday, September 18th at 7:30 p.m. Executive at 7 p.m.
Benefit: The families and friends of Bradley, Cherese & Temeka Stevens are hosting a
benefit at the L'Ardoise Legion on Saturday, September 29th from 2 - 6p.m. Bradley
has an undiagnosed illness. His muscles are deteriorating and he has chronic pain and
fatigue, which prevents him from working. Please support this worthy cause, your help
will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your kind support.Terry Fox Run: The Terry Fox Run will take place on Sunday, September 16th from

students associated with Immaculate Conception Parish, Barra Head. This includes the
communities of Barra Head, Chapel Island, and Soldier's Cove. Place: Kateri Chapel, Chapel Island. Time: 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Dates: September 16 & 30; October 14 & 21;
November 18 & 25; December 2 & 9. A new schedule will be made available, at the

roofing of the Immaculate Conception Church will be received at the L'Ardoise Glebe
House, L'Ardoise until Friday, September 21, 2007 at noon. Supply and install 25 year
black roofing shingles; supply and install starter strips; supply and install ice shield;
supply and install felt paper over entire roof. The Parish of Barra Head reserves the right
to reject any or all tenders, not necessarily accept the lowest tender, or accept any tender

Spaghetti Supper & Ceilidh at the Lakeside Community Center, Sampsonville on
Friday, September 21st. Supper 4-6 p.m. Spaghetti, meatsauce, garlic bread & rolls,
dessert, tea and coffee. Ceilidh to follow immediately after. Admission is $7.00 per
person and includes both supper & ceilidh.
