The Sacrament of Confirmation for Immaculate Conception Parish: Registration for
the sacrament of confirmation will be held on Sunday, September 9th at 6:30 p.m. in the
Katerie Chapel. The classes are for high school students (grades 9-12). Classes will be
held on a weekly basis in the Katerie Chapel, beginning this Fall, with confirmation being
celebrated sometime during the Spring of 2008 in Immaculate Conception Parish. For

Religious Education: Religious Education registration is September 30th at 10:30 a.m.

L'Ardoise Community Center. Students (grades 1-6) from Immaculate Conception Parish
are welcome to attend religious education classes in L'Ardoise or St Peters. The contact

The Terry Fox Run will take place on Sunday, September 16th from 12:30 - 4:00 p.m.
L'Ardoise Community Center basement. You may walk, run, jog, or bike and dogs are
welcomed. Pledge sheets are available at the L'Ardoise Credit Union, Le Magasin and
L'Ardoise General Store and at either Post Office. Refreshments will be available. We've
all been touched by this terrible disease, so please come and help in the fight to end

Adult Leaning Classes: If you are 19 years old or older and interested in improving
your reading, writing and/or math skills; preparing for the GED; or working toward your
own personal goals, register now for classes in Arichat, St. Peters or Chapel Island.
Classes run from October to May, are free of charge, and may be started at any time.
Assistance for childcare and transportation may also be available. Call Richmond County

roofing of the Immaculate Conception Church will be received at the L'Ardoise Glebe

black roofing shingles; supply and install starter strips; supply and install ice shield;
supply and install felt paper over entire roof. The Parish of Barra Head reserves the right
